Loss of Choice and Rationing is Part of ObamaCare Plan

Hello Americans,

People the liberal democrats have no intention of listening, or honoring your wish in health-care reform. This is not about health-care reform, it is about transforming our health-care system. It is about control, and let me tell you, you have already lost control. Nov. 2008 the election results saw obama as the winner of that contest. Since then he has been steam rolling his Socialist agenda. With the $787 billion Stimulus Bill obama took control of Americas finances, control the money you control the future. Look at the radicals, socialist, tax cheats that surround him, and who help make Americas policy now. Liberal democrats just rubber stamps what obama wants done and congress is powers less to stop it, and Americans are to uninformed and disassociated to get involved.

I received this notice today, does anyone care? Does anyone have an idea of what America will look like when obama is done 4 years from now? Does anyone care about the future of their children, or grand children's future?

Richard,

The Senate Finance Committee is currently in recess until tomorrow(Tuesday) morning at 9:30, when it is expected they will begin tomove what Sen. Mitch McConnell calls "a trillion-dollar experiment that cuts Medicare, raises taxes, and threatens the health care options that millions of Americans enjoy."
Yes, Richard, it is that bad.
A look at the amendments that were shot-down late last week should serve as warning that unless citizens--and especially seniors get involved it stands to get much worse.
Last Friday morning, Sen. Jon Kyl offered up an amendment prohibiting the federal government from limiting consumer choice. His amendment failed 9-14.
With the influx of amendments and changes to the bill, Sen. John Cornyn wanted the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) to re-score it for accuracy. His amendment failed 11-12.
Sen. John Ensign's amendment that any "czar" handling health care issues shall be subjected to the Senate confirmation process also failed 10-13.

From just these failed amendments, alone it's clear that this administration isn't interested in free market solutions, or our rights to choose what plan fits our personal needs. They aren't interested in accountability and transparency, or in working within the delicate balance of power created by the constitution. Instead, they are willing to use a health czar if need be to skirt the checks and balances!

Richard, everything about this plan is corrupt. Everything about this plan is designed to increase the federal government's control and power over you and I. And the ones who stand to lose the most?
Senior citizens will endure reduced benefits and fewer choices.

Working families who will see a sharp rise in insurance premiums (upwards of $4,500 for a family of four), and steep tax increases.

Small businesses will shoulder the burden of more than $420 billion in new taxes--hamstringing growth and slowing the economy even further.

+ + Action: Send a Message to the Senate Finance Committee!

This is not a plan for America, and as Americans it is our responsibility to tell law makers in Washington as much.
We can't allow Congress to hash out the details of thiscomplicated plan without being involved--every painful step of the way.

2NEW? - Healthcare Insurance Czar (7/7/09)

• President Barack Obama's congressional allies want to create a powerful insurance commissioner to oversee medical plans nationwide. State regulators say it would duplicate what they do without better protecting consumers

• The health choices commissioner would head an independent agency, as envisioned in the 800-page draft bill released by House Democratic leaders. The Health Choices Administration would regulate a revamped insurance marketplace and be expected to deliver Obama's promise of affordable coverage for all.

• Decisions made in the commissioner's office would reverberate not just through insurance company boardrooms, but family kitchens as well.

• State regulators, who traditionally have overseen the industry, say a federal commissioner is unnecessary.

• "We have concerns that a federal commissioner would not provide adequate protection for our consumers, and that the bill as drafted duplicates functions that exist in states across the nation," said Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner Kim Holland.

History of American Czars:

George W. Bush• Reports of 14 Czars over 8 years (or 96 months)
Ronald Reagan• Reports of 3 Czars over 8 years (or 96 month)
Obama• Reports of 34 Czars over ½ year (or 6 months)
At this rate, we will have:272 czars in Obama’s fist term (48 months)
544 czars if he lasts two terms (96 months)

You be the Judge

Fellow Americans;

I came across this article by David Horowitz and frankly it scares the hell out of me. Look closely at it, does it remind you of anything.

Conservatives think of war as a metaphor when applied to politics. For radicals the war is real. That is why partisans of the left set out to destroy their opponents, not just refute their arguments. It is also why they never speak the truth. Deception for them is a military tactic in a war that is designed to eliminate their opponents.
Alinsky's Rules for Radicals is first of all a broadside against the New Left. What Alinsky attacks about the New Left is its honesty -- something I've always regarded as its only redeeming feature. While American Communists -- the Old Left -- pretended to be Jeffersonian Democrats and "progressives" and formed "popular fronts" with liberals to "defend democracy," we in the New Left disdained their deception and regarded it as weakness. To distinguish ourselves from these Old Leftists, we said we were revolutionaries and proud of it.
"Up against the wall motherfucker" was a typical New Left slogan, telegraphing exactly how we felt about people who opposed us. The most basic principle of Alinsky's advice to radicals is, lie to your opponents and potential opponents and disarm them by pretending to be moderates, liberals. This has been the most potent weapon of the left since the end of the Sixties. Racists like Al Sharpton and Jeremiah Wright posing as civil rights activists, radicals like Henry Waxman and Barney Frank posing as liberals. The mark of their success is how conservatives collude in the deception. Even Fox's Megan Kelly, brilliant in all other things, still refers to the congressional socialists holding out for a total government takeover of the medical system as "liberals.")

Alinsky chides New Leftists for being "rhetorical radicals" rather than "realistic" ones. New Leftists scared people but didn't have the power to back up their threats. Alinsky's manual is designed to teach radicals how to manipulate the public into thinking they're harmless, in order to accumulate enough power to achieve the radical agenda -- to burn the system down and replace it with a socialist gulag.
Make no mistake, this -- a totalitarian future -- is the real objective of Alinsky and his radical disciples who call themselves liberals and bore from within. Alinsky writes of "the "revolutionary force" of the 1960s, that its activists were "one moment reminiscent of the idealistic early Christians yet they also urge violence and cry 'Burn the system down.!' They have no illusions about the system, but plenty of illusions about the way to change our world. It is to this point that I have written this book." Radicals who call for burning down America's democracy "have no illusions about the system"! They just don't know how to go about doing it.
Alinsky's book could be called Machiavellian Rules for Radicals, because it is all about deception, about keeping others in the dark about your intentions until it is too late. Alinsky even acknowledges Machiavelli as his model: "What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be." These are the famous lines that Michelle Obama made in her own Democratic Convention speech.
Alinsky continues: "The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. [I will have more to say about these Haves in the next blog.] Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away."
Alinsky's agenda is the same agenda as that of the radicals who called for "Revolution Now" in the 1960s. He just has a more clever way of doing it. If you want socialized medicine, don't say you want socialized medicine. Say you want "Medicare for all," as though transforming a partial government insurance for the indigent into a total system required for everyone wouldn't transform the program into a pillar of the totalitarian future.
Actually there's nothing new in Alinsky's strategy of appearing moderate in order to disarm your opposition. That was what Stalin's popular front was all about -- communists pretending to be democrats and forming allianaces with liberals in order to acquire enough power to shut the democracy down. And, in fact, it was Lenin's idea too, which is where Alinsky got it in the first place. Lenin is one of Alinsky's heroes -- Castro is another -- and he invokes the master in the course of chiding the rhetorical radicals of the New Left over a famous Sixties slogan, which was itself lifted from Mao. Mao's slogan said political power comes out of the barrel of a gun. Comments Alinsky:
"'Power comes out of the barrel of a gun' is an absurd rallying cry when the other side has all the guns. Lenin was a pragmatist; when he returned from what was then Petrograd from exile, he said that the Bolsheviks stood for getting power through the ballot but would reconsider after they got the guns."
In other words, vote for us now, but when we are the government it will be another story. One man, one vote, one time. This is the political credo of all totalitatarians, including Hitler, who was elected Chancellor and then made himself Fuerher and shut the voting booths down.
Lenin was not a pragmatist (how fatuous): he was a Machievellian monster who was engaged in a total war which justified every means to achieve its goals. Alinsky is marching to the same drummer. What he really means is that Lenin was a realist and understood how to use the power he had, and, when it was not enough to crush his opposition, to make up for its deficiencies with deception. "These rules [for radicals]" Alinsky explains, "make the difference between being a realistic radical and a being a rhetorical one who uses the tired old words and slogans, calls the police 'pig' or 'white fascist racist' or 'motherfucker' and has so stereotyped himself that others react by saying, 'Oh he's one of those' and promptly turn off." Get the power and then you can call them (and do with them) what you want.
"This failure of many of our younger activists to understand the art of communication has been disastrous," writes Alinsky. What he really means is their failure to understand the art of mis-communication. This is the art that teaches radicals who are trying impose a socialist health care system in a country whose people understand that socialism destroys freedom, not to sell it as socialism, but to sell it as a "public option," or as "Medicare for all."
What this adds up to is a call to revolutionaries who want to destroy the system, to first work within the system until you can accumulate enough power to destroy it. In the movement, we used to call this the strategy of "boring from within." Like termites, you eat away at the foundations until the building collapses.
Alinsky's advice is: Don't confront the system as an opposing army; join it and undermine it as a fifth column force: "'That means working within the system." That means that "any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people."
It is first necessary to sell the public on "change," the "audacity of hope," and "yes we can." You do this by proposing moderate changes which open the door to your radical agendas. Says Alinsky:
"Remember: once you organize people around something as commonly agreed upon as pollution, then an organized people is on the move. From there it's a short and natural step to political pollution, to Pentagon pollution."Not an accident that the new Green Czar appointed by Obama to jump start the anti-pollution revolution, Van Jones, is a self-described communist.

Please ask questions of your Senators, House of Representatives in Congress. Ask them what they are doing? Why are they fulfilling their oath of office - protecting America, the U.S. Constitution , and the American people from their enemies both domestic and foreign? Let them know you are holding accountable and that will become more evident as they come up for re-election in 2010.

Time to get serious Americans these are the most dangerous time in the last 50 years.

Obama’s Imperial Decree: Target Oklahoma

I am passing on a clip by -Kevin Gutzman, an American historian and New York Times bestselling author. Reads as follows: "Remember the good old days, when one only had to watch out for the Federal Government’s twisted interpretation of the commerce clause to justify tyranny?
Well those days seem to be long gone. The Obama Administration has been employing an old tactic lately – what some might call an imperial threat – and they’re not doing it overseas, either.
STATES UNDER THREAT
The state of Oklahoma is now the target of a direct challenge from US Attorney General Eric Holder, who is using the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as justification to violate Oklahoma’s sovereignty as affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution.
In a letter written to the State Attorney General in April, the Federal government used aggressive language, bringing up the possibility of withholding Federal funds appropriated for Oklahoma. The reason? A proposed amendment to the State Constitution, which requires voter approval, that would make English the official language of the State.
“What it indicates is the Federal Government’s contempt for the states, in this case Oklahoma, and for the idea of federal - as opposed to national - government. AG Holder believes that Oklahoma is an administrative subdivision of the USA, and that it is perfectly right for him to coerce Oklahomans to do his will. Who cares whether he has ever been to Oklahoma, met an Oklahoman, or thought about Oklahoma?” said Kevin Gutzman, an American historian and New York Times bestselling author.
Oklahoma is not alone as a state challenged by central authority in recent months.

If we keep with our present apathy towards what government is doing soon we won't have to worry, because we will be like Nazi Germany and have no rights at all. We will have to keep our thoughts and opinions to ourselves and pray we are not thrown into slave camps.

Do we have anyone that is willing to stand up for our Constitution, Bill of Rgihts, America or is the work to hard for mosat of us to keep the Republic which we are charge with. God gave us this Country and these rights and now He is warning us we are about to lose them forever. Why have we ignored Him for so long.

Last Call!!

Industry Cash Flowed To Drafters of Reform

Health-care reform is a major issue facing our Congress and the American people today. Government, Oboma and his cohorts, and other economist say health cost is going to bankrupt America and this perhaps is true. However, instead of improving regulation and control governing health-care industry, drug makers, doctors, hospitals, and insurers to trim the costs (which they have already admitted being able to cut costs significantly, and where we should be focusing) Oboma wants to reinvent the wheel. Oboma will if we allow introduce you to socialized medicine, and government will decide your health-care needs, where you will receive that care, and if your value to life warrants the kind of care you need. Already government is saying that elderly people are not worth as much as young people. Imagine if you are diagnosed with cancer, or need a liver, kidney transplant, or some other life threatening condition, do you want the government making those decisions. If you answered yes, God help you. Sure our health-care has problems, but government will not fix those, it will erase them and in their place give you something where you have no choice. I have cancer and a pacemaker, but I am not ready to die, but under the government (Oboma health-care) I would have little value to life and be pushed aside to wait to die; I am only 68 years old. Is this the kind of change you voted for?

Here is a Senator who has sold your health-care out to the lobbyist for thousands of campaign dollars. This article is from The Washington Post July 21, 2009 written by Dan Eggen - read it for yourself. Is this the kind of representation you want in Congress?

As liberal protesters marched outside, Sen. Max Baucus sat down inside a San Francisco mansion for a dinner of chicken cordon bleu and a discussion of landmark health-care legislation under consideration by his Senate Finance Committee.
At the table on May 26 were about 20 donors willing to fork over $10,000 or more to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, including executives of major insurance companies, hospitals and other health-care firms.
"Most people there had an agenda; they wanted the ear of a senator, and they got it," said Aaron Roland, a San Francisco health-care activist who paid half price to attend the gathering. "Money gets you in the door. The only thing the other side can do is march around and protest outside."
As his committee has taken center stage in the battle over health-care reform, Chairman Baucus (D-Mont.) has emerged as a leading recipient of Senate campaign contributions from the hospitals, insurers and other medical interest groups hoping to shape the legislation to their advantage. Health-related companies and their employees gave Baucus's political committees nearly $1.5 million in 2007 and 2008, when he began holding hearings and making preparations for this year's reform debate.
Top health executives and lobbyists have continued to flock to the senator's often extravagant fundraising events in recent months. During a Senate break in late June, for example, Baucus held his 10th annual fly-fishing and golfing weekend in Big Sky, Mont., for a minimum donation of $2,500. Later this month comes "Camp Baucus," a "trip for the whole family" that adds horseback riding and hiking to the list of activities.
To avoid any appearance of favoritism, his aides say, Baucus quietly began refusing contributions from health-care political action committees after June 1. But the policy does not apply to lobbyists or corporate executives, who continued to make donations, disclosure records show.
Baucus declined requests to comment for this article. Spokesman Tyler Matsdorf said the senator "is only driven by one thing: what is right for Montana and the country. And he will continue his open process of working together with the president, his colleagues in Congress, and groups and individuals from across the nation to get this legislation passed."
Baucus's fundraising prowess underscores the enduring political strength of the health-care lobby, which led all other sectors in donations to federal candidates during the last election cycle and has shifted its giving to Democrats as the party has tightened its control of Congress.
The sector gave nearly $170 million to federal lawmakers in 2007 and 2008, with 54 percent going to Democrats, according to data compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks money in politics. The shift in parties was even more pronounced during the first three months of this year, when Democrats collected 60 percent of the $5.4 million donated by health-care companies and their employees, the data show.
Many of these contributions have been focused on Baucus, Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) and other senators in the moderate camps of their respective parties, whose votes could prove crucial in a final health-care reform deal, as well as the leaders of five key committees leading the debate. Grassley, the Finance Committee's ranking Republican, received more than $2 million from the health and insurance sectors since 2003. House Ways and Means Chairman Charles B. Rangel (D-N.Y.) took in $1.6 million from the health sector and its employees over the past two years; ranking Republican Dave Camp (Mich.) received nearly $1 million.
But Baucus, a senator from a sparsely populated and conservative Western state who is serving his sixth term, stands out for the rising tide of health-care contributions to his campaign committee, Friends of Max Baucus, and his political-action committee, Glacier PAC. Baucus collected $3 million from the health and insurance sectors from 2003 to 2008, about 20 percent of the total, data show. Less than 10 percent of the money came from Montana.
Top out-of-state corporate contributors included Schering-Plough, New York Life Insurance, Amgen, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield; individual executives such as Richard T. Clark, chief executive and president of drugmaker Merck, have also made regular donations. Most of these companies, particularly major insurers, strongly oppose a public insurance option, which is favored by President Obama and top House Democrats but has not received support from Baucus's committee. Baucus is a longtime centrist in the Democratic caucus, and his committee chairmanship has made him a key broker in the health-reform debate. Many former Baucus staff members, including two chiefs of staff, lobby on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry and other health-care players and have been closely involved in negotiations on the legislation.
John Jonas, a Patton Boggs health-care lobbyist who has attended a Baucus fly-fishing event and other fundraisers, said the Montana senator is "key to getting anything done" when it comes to health-care legislation.
"This is not an overwhelmingly liberal Congress, and it's certainly not a liberal Senate," said Jonas, whose clients include Bristol-Myers Squibb, Pfizer and Northwestern Mutual. "I think Max is uniquely situated to try to accomplish that, because he's more of a centrist and moderate Democrat than others are."
But Jerry Flanagan, a health-care analyst with Consumer Watchdog, a California-based advocacy group, said the tide of campaign contributions amounts to "a huge down payment" by companies that expect favorable policies in return. "That is the cold reality of big-money politics," he said.
Baucus won easy reelection in the fall, but he has continued to hold fundraisers since then. In addition to the fly-fishing event, he held his "Eighth Annual Ski and Snowmobile Weekend" in Big Sky in February and celebrated the start of his sixth term with a $10,000-a-table dinner at the Washington Court Hotel later that month. Aides say another fundraiser scheduled for July 7 at Bistro Bis in Capitol Hill was scrapped.
Baucus's office declined to provide attendance and donation details about his fundraising events, and federal records laws do not require such disclosures. Starting in June, aides say, Baucus adopted an internal office policy to refuse contributions from health-care PACs and to continue doing so until after Congress passes reform legislation.
But new Federal Election Commission documents filed last week show that individual lobbyists and others with health-care connections continued to make contributions to Baucus committees throughout June. Examples from Baucus's Glacier PAC include $5,000 from the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America and $2,500 from lobbyists with U.S. Strategies, which represents numerous health-care firms. Overall, half of the $110,000 in donations to the PAC from April to June came from health-care firms and lobbyists, including Schering-Plough, Medtronic and New York Life.
Craig Holman, government affairs lobbyist for the Public Citizen advocacy group, said the continued fundraising by Baucus during the health-care debate is "very troubling."
"He's doing all this fundraising right in the middle of this effort to mark up a bill," Holman said. "When you put these events close to matters concerning these lobbyists, clearly it's a signal. You are expected to show up with a check."
Baucus and his aides strongly dispute any assertion that campaign contributions have an impact on the senator's policy views and proposals. Aides say he has frequently backed policies opposed by health-care companies, including support for greater availability of generic drugs, allowing drug imports from Canada and cutting payments to the Medicare Advantage plan.
During an interview earlier this year with the Missoulian newspaper, Baucus said that "no one gets special treatment." He added: "Your word is your bond back there."

I ask you again is this Senator representing your interest. I think he sold his soul and the people from Montana, and the American people out to health-care Lobbyist and who knows who else for a few thousand dollars. I say When he is up, He is out.

I will watch his voting record and I will let the people of Montana, and the American People of his Voting Record. Remember a Leopard doesn't change his spots.

Thank you for reading be informed.

FINAL VOTE RESULTS H R 2918 YEA-AND-NAY 19-Jun-2009

Fellow Americans here is how your House of Representatives in Congress Voted on Bill H.R.2918 Making appropriations for the Legislative Branch FY 2010. I have posted the contents ofthis bill on Craiglist for the past 3 days. If you feel that your representative did not do a good job in controlling spending, or failed to exercise fiscal responsibility make a note of this and next November election 2010 vote them out of office.

Consider the way Congress has been responding to their job of protecting the Constitution and the American People, to the way they blindly give Oboma everything he want and passing legislation bills without reading them. A good November Election Campaign is "if your up, your out".

I don't consider Not Voting acceptable behavior by my Congressional representatives. I elect them to protect the Constitution, my Rights and to read and pass legislation that benefits me, my Country, and fellow Americans. I don't vote them to grow government, trash the U. S. Constitution, and toss out my Rights for their self promoting benefit.

Remember IF THEY ARE UP, THEY ARE OUT particularly if they don't read, discuss and blindly follow Oboma's whims.

111TH CONGRESS
1ST SESSION H. R. 2918
[Report No. 111–160]
A BILL
Making appropriations for the Legislative Branch
for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010,
and for other purposes.
JUNE 17, 2009
Committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the
State of the Union and ordered to be printed

Tomorrow I will sho you how the House of Representatives voted on this Bill, than on Wednesday I will show you the Senate vote.

I ask you to make note of those voteing for these Congressional leaders who fail to show restraint in wild, careless, reckless spending as well as governing. It certianly is not representing me, and the choices I want them making. Passing Bills and Amendments they don't even take time to read and debate on, and who wants to give up their Freedoms and Liberties for Socialism and Communist way of life.

Maybe Glenn Beck is right! "if you are up you are out." However, I would look at keeping those who fought to keep my Liberties and Freedoms for me, those those who fought hard against Oboma.
